April update

Commonwealth Attorney’s office paid for 3 “Drug Free March” advertising banners one to be carried in as we march and two that will be placed on both ends of Main Street.  (Thank you Debbie and Sandy for taking care of that for us)

Norma and Greg Bowman have gotten 5 banners donated from Pepsi and they are in the process of getting them painted and posted up at different locations in the county.

Kathy Parker has sent out info to be added to bulletins for church.

Travis Roberts has been in contact with Washington Post Reporter keeping him updated on what is we are doing. Travis will be doing an audio commercial/announcement to be played on radio.

HS has agreed to have flyers put up at stores throughout Tazewell County. He also will be in contact with local media to broadcast the event.

Steve Branch will be on the Greg Hammond Radio show next week.

Barry Absher will be on the Richlands Radio station.

Chuck Patterson will be taking info to local Churches

Bernard Cornwell is contacting John Dash station.

Flyers are made, I’m in the process of getting them printed.

We need to Network, send emails to the local chambers and ask them to forward the info to their membership and try to ID a person at most of the big businesses in the county and send an email to that person and ask them to forward to all of their employees/etc.  By networking – you can get the WORD to a lot of people.  Regardless, who you send the email to – ask that person to forward the email to their email friends/family/etc.
